▼Working principle
The GDF pipeline pump works much like a "water gyroscope." When powered on, the motor drives the internal impeller to rotate at high speed, drawing water towards the center like a gyroscope. Then, the water flow is forcefully propelled by the impellers, "thrown" along the pump casing towards the outlet, gaining pressure and being pushed out through the pipeline. It is directly connected in series with the pipeline, allowing water to be pressurized and transported "in place."
▼Shopping and maintenance suggestions
1. Matching Operating Conditions: Select the appropriate model based on flow rate and head requirements. Also, consider the characteristics of the medium (e.g., corrosiveness) when choosing the pump body material (cast iron/stainless steel, etc.), prioritizing reputable brands to ensure quality.
2. Routine Maintenance: Regularly check the shaft seal tightness, clean debris from the impeller, and add bearing grease approximately every 2000 hours of operation. During routine inspections, pay attention to any abnormal noises or vibrations.
3. Regular Overhaul: Conduct a complete disassembly at least once a year to check bearing wear and impeller cavitation. Replace seals and worn parts promptly to ensure the pump is leak-free and operates efficiently.
▼Precautions for use
1. Before startup: Ensure the pump is full of liquid before starting. Check the opening and closing status of the inlet and outlet valves, their sealing performance, and the lubrication of the bearings. Dry running is strictly prohibited.
2. During operation: Closely monitor the pump's pressure, current, and other parameters. Pay attention to any abnormal noises or vibrations. If overload, leakage, or other abnormalities occur, immediately stop the pump and investigate.
3. After shutdown: For long-term inactivity, drain the liquid from the pump, perform rust prevention treatment on the pump body, and manually rotate the pump periodically to prevent parts from seizing up.
