The BZ direct-drive self-priming pump is a compact centrifugal pump with its motor directly connected to the pump body, eliminating the need for an additional base. ▼Working principle
When the pump starts, the liquid stored in the pump is thrown upwards by the impeller, carrying air with it. The liquid flows back to the working chamber through the gas-liquid separation chamber, and the gas is discharged outside the pump, creating a certain degree of vacuum inside the pump and achieving self-priming.
▼Shopping and maintenance suggestions
Key Selection Points: Choose the model based on your flow requirements, paying attention to the pump body material and motor protection rating (IP54 or higher recommended).
Common Faults: No water output may be due to insufficient pump priming, air leaks in the pipeline, or impeller blockage. For initial use, fill the pump with priming water.
Maintenance Schedule: Replenish bearings with grease every six months, inspect the mechanical seal annually, and drain any remaining water to prevent rust if the pump is to be out of service for an extended period.
▼Precautions for use
1. When installing the water pump, do not use overly soft rubber hoses for the inlet pipe to avoid flattening. Use rigid plastic or iron pipes, extending vertically at least 50cm underwater and at least 30cm above the bottom to prevent the pump from sucking up mud and sand.
2. Before installation, connect the power supply and test the pump. The rotation should be clockwise when viewed from the fan blade end (reverse rotation is strictly prohibited).
3. All connections in the inlet pipe must be sealed, and bends should be minimized; otherwise, water will not be drawn in.
4. For first-time use, fill the pump body with clean water to purge air. When starting, slightly close the outlet valve. After water flows out, adjust the valve to the desired flow rate.
5. In freezing weather, drain the water from the pump body to prevent it from freezing and cracking.
